Micro-pigmentation / Ombre Powdering
Micr-pigmentation ombre powdering is a method of manually implanting perfectly matched pigment in hair-like strokes in the epidermis to create fuller and darker looking eyebrows. It is the latest development in semi-permanent make-up, and the natural looks are achieved using a sharp hand-held blade made up of at least seven micro-needles.
How long does it last?
No need to worry when exercising or leading an active lifestyle, with Microblading the pigment is implanted into the first 2 layers of the skin and will not smudge due to water or smear off if you touch it. No need for touch-ups throughout your day.
Sessions only take 2 hours with follow up session 4-6 weeks out for 30-60 minutes.
Lasts 1-3 years, Microblading is semi-permanent.
All pigments used in Microblading are organic and specifically made so that they do not change colour.
Healing process/ How long does healing take?
Less than a week usually just a few days! However please allow a week if you have an event or special occasion coming up! Everyone's skin is different. Although eyebrow Microblading is effective in most cases, no guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit from the procedure. Generally, the results are excellent but it very much depends on your skin..... texture, oiliness etc. Your new semi-permanent eyebrow will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure. Sometimes it's a hard process! This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin, and has not yet settled in completely. The colour of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is an excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin. Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the colour pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial colour and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.
Will I need a touch-up?
Everyone's skin is different so it greatly depends on that and your healing process. No guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit the same as another from this procedure. The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin, and has not yet settled in completely. Allow 2-3 days to settle. Once completely healed, I advise applying a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly. You may need a touch-up appointment to correct if any of these factors were present at your blading. Generally the results are amazing but it very much depends on your own skin type, texture and oiliness. The pigment is semi-permanent and will fade over time. However please note again that everyone's skin is different and will experience different results with this semi-permanent procedure when it comes to retention. Additional Touch-Ups may be necessary.
