How it works
After cleansing, the peel solution is applied to the skin and left to work for a set time, carefully monitored by Lily.
The active acids loosen the bonds between dead surface cells and stimulate renewal in the layers beneath — some formulas, like BioRePeel, also deliver nourishing vitamins and amino acids at the same time.
As the skin renews over the following days, tone becomes brighter and more even and texture looks smoother and refreshed.
What to expect
-
Consultation & patch test
Lily assesses your skin and, where needed, patch tests to choose the right peel and strength for you.
-
Preparation
The skin is deeply cleansed and prepped so the peel works evenly.
-
The peel
The solution is applied and left to work for a few minutes — you may feel a mild tingling or warmth, which is normal.
-
Neutralise & protect
The skin is soothed and protected with SPF. Lily explains exactly how to care for it as it renews.
Aftercare
- Avoid direct sun and wear SPF daily — essential after any peel.
- Don't pick or peel flaking skin; let it shed naturally.
- Avoid actives (retinol, acids), saunas and heavy sweating for several days.
- Keep the skin hydrated with the gentle products Lily recommends.
Frequently asked questions
Will my skin peel a lot?
It depends on the peel. BioRePeel is designed to revitalise with little to no visible peeling, so it's ideal if you can't have downtime. Stronger TCA peels may cause light flaking over a few days.
How many treatments will I need?
A single peel gives a healthy glow, but a course spaced a few weeks apart delivers the best results for concerns like pigmentation, scarring or ageing. Lily will advise.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel a mild tingling, warmth or slight stinging while the peel is on, which quickly settles. Lily monitors your skin throughout.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
It's best to let the skin breathe and recover for 24 hours, and to avoid make-up over any flaking. SPF is a must while the skin renews.
Is a peel suitable for me?
Peels suit most skin types and many concerns, but not everyone — a consultation and patch test let Lily choose the safest, most effective option for you.
