Before and after — a real lash lift & tint by Geo
  • Session time 45–60 min
  • Lasts 4–6 weeks
  • Patch test 48 hrs before, free
  • Downtime None — dry for 24 hrs
  • Comfort Relaxing, eyes closed

A lash lift is a gentle perm for your natural lashes — it works entirely with what you already have. Rather than the sharp, crimped bend older methods could leave, each lash is shaped upwards from the very root over a soft silicone shield, giving an open, wide-awake curl that looks like your lashes — only better. As standard, the lift is paired with a rich tint that darkens the lashes from root to tip for a mascara-like depth, even on fair or sun-lightened lashes. The result is striking but completely natural, lasts four to six weeks, and needs no daily upkeep — no curler, no mascara, no infill appointments. Because the lifting lotion and tint contain active ingredients, a quick free patch test at least 48 hours before your first appointment is essential.

Your lash specialist

Geo

Lashes at Lily's Beauty are in the hands of Georgiana — Geo to her clients — the clinic's dedicated lash specialist, and the one treatment Lily doesn't carry out herself. Geo works to the same rule as everything else here: the same pair of hands, one-to-one, at every visit.

She shapes each lash from the very root for a soft, natural curl — and from your patch test to the finished look, she gets to know your eyes, your style and how much curl suits you. Honest advice, never a hard sell.

How it works

A soft silicone shield is placed on the closed eyelid and your natural lashes are combed up and over it from the very root — lifting the whole lash, not just the tip — and the shield size sets the shape, from a soft bend to the fullest lift.

Gentle lifting and setting lotions, applied and timed carefully to your lash type, soften each lash so it takes on the new shape — then lock the curl in place.

The rich tint — part of the treatment as standard — is applied from root to tip, darkening the lashes for a mascara-like finish. The lift then simply grows out with your natural lash cycle over four to six weeks.

What to expect

  1. Patch test

At least 48 hours before your first appointment, a quick free patch test checks you're not sensitive to the lifting lotion or tint. It only takes a couple of minutes — message ahead and it's easily arranged around you.

  2. Consultation

Geo looks at your lashes and eye shape and helps you choose the right shield for the curl you want — soft and subtle, or as lifted as possible.

  3. The treatment

You lie back with your eyes closed while the shields, lotions and tint do the work — around 45 to 60 minutes. Most clients find it so relaxing they nearly doze off.

  4. The reveal

Lashes look lifted, darker and noticeably more open straight away — no downtime at all. Just keep them completely dry for the first 24 hours while the lift settles.

Aftercare

  • Keep lashes completely dry for 24 hours — no water, steam, saunas or heavy workouts.
  • Skip mascara and eye make-up for 24 hours; after that, stick to oil-free products.
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes or sleeping face-down on the first night while the curl sets.
  • Brush lashes through each morning with a clean spoolie to keep them fanned and tidy.
  • Leave at least four weeks before your next lift so your lashes complete a full cycle.

Frequently asked questions

Is the tint included?

Yes — the lift and tint are always done together as one treatment, because the tint is what gives that mascara-like depth and completes the result, especially on fair lashes. It's £35 during the introductory offer, which runs for a limited time only — the standard price is £45.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes — the lifting lotion and tint contain active ingredients that can occasionally cause a reaction, so a free patch test at least 48 hours before your first appointment is essential, and it's an insurance requirement too. It takes just a couple of minutes. If you've had a lift elsewhere, a fresh patch test is still needed, as products differ between salons.

Will it damage my natural lashes?

Not when it's done professionally and spaced properly. The lotions are timed carefully to your lash type and kept away from the roots, and leaving four to six weeks between lifts lets your lashes renew naturally. Over-processing only becomes a risk with back-to-back treatments — which is exactly why the clinic won't book them.

How long does a lash lift last?

Four to six weeks for most people. The curl doesn't suddenly drop — it grows out gradually with your natural lash cycle, so lashes simply return to how they were before, ready for your next lift.

Can I wear mascara afterwards?

After the first 24 hours, yes — although most clients find the tint means they no longer need it. If you do wear it, choose an oil-free formula and avoid waterproof mascaras, which need oil-based removers that can relax the curl.

How is it different from lash extensions?

Extensions glue synthetic lashes on top of your own and need infills every few weeks. A lift works entirely with your natural lashes — curling and tinting what you already have — so it's lower maintenance, softer-looking and far kinder to your lashes over time.

Is a lash lift suitable for me?

Almost everyone with natural lashes can have one — even short or straight lashes usually lift beautifully. It's not suitable while you have an eye infection or straight after eye surgery, and if you're pregnant or have very sensitive eyes, mention it when booking so your lash specialist can advise you honestly.
