- Smooth for 3–6 weeks
- Regrowth Softer & finer
- Technique Warm & hot wax
- Suitable for Women & men
Waxing removes hair straight from the root, so skin stays smooth for far longer than shaving — typically three to six weeks — and regrowth comes back softer and finer over time. Lily uses warm and hot wax techniques chosen to suit each area, including gentle hot wax for more sensitive areas like the bikini line and underarms. As well as removing hair, waxing lifts away dead skin for an extra-smooth finish. Treatments are available for both women and men, from a quick lip or underarm to full-body waxing.

How it works
The skin is cleansed and prepared, then wax is applied in the direction of hair growth.
Warm strip wax is ideal for larger areas like legs and arms, while hot wax is used on sensitive areas — it wraps around the hair and is removed without strips, which is gentler on the skin.
The wax is removed swiftly, taking the hair from the root and dead skin cells with it. With regular waxing, regrowth becomes sparser, softer and slower.
What to expect
-
Preparation
The area is cleansed and the right wax is chosen for your skin and the area being treated.
-
Waxing
Wax is applied and removed section by section. There's a brief sharp sensation as the hair lifts, which eases with regular waxing as regrowth thins.
-
Soothe
The skin is soothed with a calming product to reduce any redness.
-
Afterwards
A little pinkness is normal for a short while. You'll leave smooth, with simple aftercare to keep skin at its best.
Aftercare
- Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam and the gym for 24 hours.
- Skip perfumed products, make-up and self-tan on the area for 24 hours.
- Exfoliate gently from a few days afterwards to help prevent ingrown hairs.
- Let hair grow to around a quarter-inch before your next wax for the best results.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the hair need to be?
Around a quarter of an inch — roughly two to three weeks of growth. If it's too short the wax can't grip it; too long can make it more uncomfortable. Don't shave in between.
Does it hurt?
There's a brief sharp sensation as the hair is removed, strongest on sensitive areas. It genuinely eases with regular waxing, as the regrowth becomes finer and sparser over time.
What's the difference between warm and hot wax?
Warm strip wax is efficient for larger areas like legs and arms. Hot wax is applied thicker and removed without strips — it's gentler and grips coarse hair well, so it's used for sensitive areas like the bikini line and underarms.
How often should I wax?
Every three to six weeks works well for most people, keeping you smooth and gradually reducing regrowth. Regular appointments make each wax more comfortable.
Can men have waxing too?
Absolutely. Lily offers a full range of men's waxing, from backs, chests and shoulders to legs and arms.
